Atlantek offers colour grading and finishing from two fully equipped DaVinci Resolve Studio suites in Truro, Cornwall. We provide a boutique alternative to larger post houses: premium colour, experienced technical support and flexible workflows, without unnecessary facility overhead. With calibrated 4K reference monitoring, in-house colourists, technical support, comfortable client seating and great coffee, our suites are built for focused, collaborative grading.
Work with our colourists, bring your own, dry hire the suite, or involve your DP, director, producer in shaping the final look.
Flexible Grading Workflows
There are clear creative benefits to grading in a dedicated suite, but we recognise that coming to Cornwall is not practical for every job.
For projects requiring a different approach, Atlantek can support remote grading and review using secure remote monitoring, or bring grading infrastructure to production using our DIT equipment, mobile systems and dedicated workflow vehicles.
Our approach can be fully client-led, colourist-led, or somewhere in between — depending on the project, the team and the stage of post-production
Colour Management
Atlantek uses ACES colour management as a foundation for many projects, supporting consistency from set through to VFX, grade, online and delivery.
Our DIT background gives us a strong understanding of camera behaviour, colour pipelines and post-production risk. Involving us before the shoot allows us to advise on LUTs, camera settings, workflow design and the smoothest path into post.
Digital & Film DI
Atlantek grades both digital and film-originated projects, with recent work including Rose of Nevada, Enys Men and Three Blue Boats.
Having tested scanners with different colour, sharpness and texture characteristics, we can advise on scanner choice, resolution, codecs and DI workflow before productions commit to a route.
